Horizon Resources Services is owned and operated by Dr. Tenise Cannon. Dr. Cannon’s background is grounded in the field of Human Resources (HR). Her vast corporate experience is solidified by formal education to include a B.S. in Management, an M.S. in Human Resources Management and a Doctoral in Business Management (DBA) with a concentration in HR. As a retired Senior Chief Petty Officer of the United States Navy, she has a passion for continued personal and professional improvement; which enhance the knowledge and capabilities that are provided to small businesses. Having served in the field of HR for 30+ years, she offers a wide range of HR consulting services to the Department of Defense, as well as to the private and public sector. Living in the National Capital region affords her the opportunity to continue to build her foundation and broaden her research in Talent Management.
